Applied Leadership: The Art of Supervision - State of Idaho Employees

Competency-Based Learning to Enhance Leadership Skills

This registration site is for State of Idaho Employees only.

Please enter your State of Idaho agency billing contact in the organization field located on our registration template. Agency approval to take courses must be in place prior to registration.

Increase productivity, improve employee performance, and enhance business interactions through effective supervision. This training program provides managers with practical tools to improve the performance of their units now.

Applied Leadership is now being offered in a compressed format. New six-day format contains the same content as the traditional eight-day format, compressed into six days. Pre-work is required. Each (3 days) costs $560 per person, including materials and hassle-free parking.

  • Applied Leadership: Lead from Within (Part I) Focuses on the role of a leader, effective communication, interpersonal styles, and self management.
  • Applied Leadership: Lead Great People (Part II) Develops skills in inspiring motivation, leading for growth, and managing individual and team performance..
  • Applied Leadership: Lead with Purpose (Part III) Explores skills in serving your customers, decision making and problem solving, fostering organizational well being, and becoming a lean office.
  • Applied Leadership: Lead for Legacy (Part IV) Examines ethical leadership, conflict resolution, effective negotiation, and change management.

Accelerated Delivery - Same great content! Six days away from the office instead of eight. Complete pre-work before each three-day session of the combined Parts I and II and/or Parts III and IV.

Our renowned Applied Leadership program is also offered in a "blended learning" format, which combines the best of online and face-to-face instruction to deliver results enjoyably and efficiently. Delivery is three to four hours per week of online study for eight weeks, capped off by two full days of face-to-face classroom training. Benefits include:
