Hands On Forensic Biology and
DNA Fingerprinting
Includes hands-on instruction in DNA
fingerprinting. Designed for the non-scientist, justice professional:
law enforcement personnel, judges, prosecutors, investigators, coroners,
forensic nurses, and related professionals. No previous experience
with DNA is required. Topics include: extracting DNA from stains,
cigarettes, and bodies; sequence analysis; and DNA profiling. Each participant will get to isolate
their own DNA and produce a DNA profile!!
