Basic 40 Mediation Certification

This course is approved by the Idaho Mediation Association to fulfill the basic mediation training requirements

The 40-hour basic mediation workshop includes all topics essential for beginning mediators. The course includes case examples and hands-on practice in mediating organizational and employee disputes. Course is intended for individuals preparing for State Certification, serving as internal resources to their organizations, or desiring to enhance their overall skills as conflict managers and mediators.

Dr. Suzanne McCorkle, Director of the Dispute Resolution Program at Boise State University. Dr. McCorkle is an authorized administrator of the Intercultural Style Inventory Test and is the author of Mediation Theory and Practice.
