Presenter: Janet Worthington, Dr.
Worthington has taught technical writing for over twenty years. She
established the Technical Writing Program for the Community and Technical
College of West Virginia Institute of Technology and served as the
coordinator for 5 years. In addition, she taught courses in technical and
business writing for West Virginia Tech and Nicholls State University in
Louisiana. She currently is teaching the graduate technical writing course
for the Educational Technology Program at Boise State University.
Dr.
Worthington has presented workshops on business and technical writing for
professionals in manufacturing, government, and non-profit organizations.
Dr. Worthington received a PhD from Florida State University in English
Education. Her publications include technical articles and books on
such varied topics as robotics and teaching literature. In addition she has
served as a reviewer for technical writing textbooks.
