Ken Brauchle, Director/Assistant Dean of Extended Studies
Ken is the Assistant Dean of Extended Studies and Director of the Center for Professional Development. He brings with him extensive administrative experience in graduate, undergraduate and non-credit professional development education at other universities. Dr. Brauchle has also been deeply involved in assessment and training program evaluation for several years. He holds a PhD in the Administration of Adult Education from the University of Alaska.

Bae Emilson, Professional Development Specialist

Bae Emilson, MA, SPHR, is a Professional Development Specialist for the Center, focusing primarily on healthcare and public administration.
Bae has over 18 years experience in training and consulting with a specialization in performance improvement and transition management. Bae has advised both profit and non-profit organizations on team development, communications, life work planning, transition management, selection interviews and quality improvement.
Prior to joining the Center, Bae was both an internal and external consultant in the healthcare, high technology, and finance industries in Idaho, Oregon, Indiana, and Illinois.
Bae has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the State University of New York at Buffalo and a Masters of Arts in Organization Development from Loyola University in Chicago.

Lyn Moore, Program and Marketing Manager
Lyn worked for BSU seven years before joining the Center for Professional Development.  She has a degree in Business Administration and is an experienced small business owner.  Lyn brings that insight to serving the Center's customers and in working closely with CPD team members to plan and market the center's programs.

Jon Busack, Professional Development Specialist

Jon Busack, BS, PE is a Professional Development Specialist for the Center, focusing primarily on engineering, manufacturing, and technology. He has twenty years’ professional and business experience.

Linda Yordy, Supervisor of Instruction

Linda is Supervisor of Instruction for Boise State's Center for Professional Development where she performs needs analysis, instructional design, facilitation, and training evaluation.  She has over 16 years experience in the training and development field.  Prior to working for Boise State, she was a Program Developer for the Education Department for Albertsons, Inc.  She has developed and delivered leadership, writing, communication, and professional development programs for organizations including the State of Idaho, Albertsons Inc., T-Mobile, Western States Equipment, Morris Little, Boise City, Boise City Police, and the Association of Government Accountants.  Linda earned both her MBA and MA from Boise State University.

Jennie Page, Professional Trainer

Jennie is an instructor for the Center for Professional Development. She has over 10 years training and teaching experience with a variety of industries including manufacturing, retail, and a call center. Jennie has presented workshops for area businesses including Albertsons, the State of Idaho, and MCMS. She received her undergraduate degree from Whittier College, which incidentally, has one of the top ten worst college mascots according to Mad magazine.

Gerrel Knudson, Technical Records Specialist

Gerrel worked for the Center for Management Development for 10 years before transferring to the Center for Professional Development. She is responsible for front-line customer service in person or by telephone. She provides information regarding programs and takes registrations. Gerrel has a degree in Home Economics, taught school, and taken extra courses in Adult Education. In her spare time Gerrel is an avid genealogist and loves to spend time with her grandchildren.
